The competition will only involve D.C.C., Area/Stock Shows and only paid up D.C.C. members will be eligible for points. Non-members joining the Club will not have any points awarded in retrospect. The competition will involve:
A) a colour competition based on breed class results
B) a top exhibitor of the year award
C) a juvenile competition
The Colour Competition:
Breed class points will be awarded as follows:
AREA SHOWS:
First: 6 points. Second: 3 points. Third:2 points. Reserve: 1 point.
ANNUAL STOCK SHOW:
First: 12 points. Second: 6 points. Third: 4 points. Reserve: 2 points.
Judges officiating to be allowed 10 points (Area), 20 points (A.S.S.) for a colour of their choice.
Top Exhibitor Award:
This award will be based on Grand Challenge placing as follows:
AREA SHOWS:
First: 6 points. Second: 3 points. Third:2 points. Reserve: 1 point.
ANNUAL STOCK SHOW:
First: 12 points. Second: 6 points. Third: 4 points. Reserve: 2 points.
The Juvenile Competition:
This award will be decided on the Juvenile Challenge placings at ALL shows:
First: 12 points. Second: 6 points. Third: 4 points Reserve: 2 points.
Please Note: It has been pointed out that when the Annual Stock Show is in the South, it will put northern exhibitors at a geographical disadvantage and vice versa for southern members when the Annual Stock Show is in the North. To compensate for this matter, when the A.S.S. is in the South, the Northern Area Show will have double points status, and when the A.S.S. is in the North, the Southern Area Show will qualify for double points.
